What customers check before they visit

The handful of things people look for in the few seconds they spend deciding whether to choose you.

When someone looks up a local business, they're usually trying to answer a few simple questions, quickly and on a phone.

Are you open?

Opening hours on Google, your website and your social profiles should agree. If they don't, people assume the worst, or call a competitor whose hours are clear.

Where are you, and how do I get there?

A correct map pin, a full address and directions that work. For many businesses this matters more than anything else on the page.

What do you offer, and roughly what does it cost?

A readable menu, a clear service list or a price guide. Customers don't need every detail, but they need enough to know you're right for them.

How do I take the next step?

Call, book, order, message or visit. Whatever it is, it should be one tap away and obvious.

Do you look trustworthy?

Recent photos, a tidy profile and a website that loads properly all count. None of it has to be elaborate, but it does have to look cared for.
