Privacy Policy

The short version

We do not have an account system, so we do not hold a profile on you. The tools that process files do so inside your browser, so we never receive those files. We use privacy-conscious analytics that records which tools are used, not who used them.

Files and content you process

Every tool marked “Runs in your browser” — which is nearly all of them — processes your data locally using standard web APIs. Your images, PDFs, text and generated passwords are never transmitted to us or to anyone else. They exist only in the memory of your browser tab and are discarded when you close or reload the page.

You can verify this: open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the network tab, and use any tool. No request carrying your data will appear.

What we do collect

• Aggregate usage. Which tools are opened and completed, which categories are browsed, and search terms typed into the tool search. Search terms are truncated and lowercased before being recorded, and are used to work out which tools to build next.
• Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records requests, including IP address and user agent, for security and abuse prevention. These are retained for a short period and are not combined with anything else.

We do not collect names, email addresses, or the contents of anything you process. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell data.

Local storage

Two small preferences are stored in your browser, not on our servers: your light or dark theme choice, and a short list of tools you have recently opened so we can show them again. Clearing your browser data removes both. Nothing in local storage is transmitted to us.

Cookies and advertising

The site itself does not set tracking cookies. Advertising is served by Adsterra, and this is what it means in practice:

• Adsterra and the demand partners it works with may set cookies or similar identifiers to select which ads to show and to measure them. This is governed by Adsterra’s privacy policy, not by ours.
• You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating vendors at aboutads.info and, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
• Ad blockers work here. Nothing on this site is gated behind seeing an advert, and no tool checks whether one loaded.

Ads are kept clearly separated from tool interfaces, labelled, and given reserved space so they never shift the page under you or get mistaken for a button. We pass no information about your files or activity to advertisers — your files are never uploaded, so there is nothing about them to pass on.

Third parties

Fonts are self-hosted and the tools themselves call out to nobody. The exceptions are Adsterra, described above, and our hosting provider, which processes the standard server request data any web host sees. Any tool that would require a server would be clearly labelled as such on its own page.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Since there is no account system, there is nothing to delete.

Your rights

Because we do not hold personal data tied to you, there is generally nothing to access, correct or delete. If you believe we hold something about you, write to us and we will look into it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page will change with it. Because the design of the site is to hold as little as possible, we do not expect significant changes.
