Using the site

Malfen is free to use. There is no account, no subscription and no usage quota. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you do not, please do not use it.

What you produce is yours

We claim no rights over anything you create with these tools. Compressed images, generated QR codes, merged documents, passwords — all of it is yours, including for commercial use, with no attribution required and no watermark applied.

You are responsible for having the right to process the files you use. Do not use the tools on material you are not permitted to modify.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the site for anything unlawful.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or circumvent technical limits.
• Do not present the site or its output as your own product or service without saying so.

No warranty

The tools are provided “as is”. We test them, but we cannot guarantee that every file will process correctly in every browser, or that output will be suitable for a particular purpose. Always keep your original files. Do not rely on this site as the only copy of anything important.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from using the site — including lost data, lost profits or business interruption. Since the tools run on your own device and we never receive your files, we have no ability to recover anything on your behalf.

Availability and changes

We may add, change or remove tools at any time, and the site may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance. Where a tool changes in a way that affects its output, we note it in the tool’s own version history.

Advertising and links

The site may display advertising and may link to third-party products, sometimes through affiliate links. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Governing terms

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms; the date above will change when we do.
