Cameras often store the picture sideways plus an EXIF orientation flag, and not every app honours that flag. This tool writes the rotation into the pixels themselves, so the corrected file looks right everywhere.

Rotating turns the image around its centre. Flipping mirrors it, so text becomes reversed. Use flip for mirror effects and rotate for orientation fixes.

Rotating by multiples of 90° only rearranges pixels, so nothing is lost. Exporting to JPG or WebP re-encodes the file as usual — pick PNG to keep it lossless.
